California web technologist and instructional designer Sakai job opportunities

I saw Steven Ryan of the Kaiser Permanente Hayward Physical Therapy Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy post job descriptions for a web technologist and an instructional designer on the Sakai open forum email list (there posted because the program is undergoing a transformation to move from a traditional classroom setting to a hybrid online environment using Sakai) and I re-post this opportunity here in order to help draw more attention to it.

One of the advantages I most like about community source software and Sakai is the way it changes the technologist and instructional designer jobs in higher education to provide a continuum of opportunities for direct involvement in the continued development of the instructional software and for collaboration with peers across institutions. It is for this reason that I like to re-post when I see opportunities like these.

Steven Ryan writes on the Sakai openforum list:

The Kaiser Permanente Hayward Physical Therapy Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy is looking for a web technologist and an instructional designer. We are located in Union City, California, just South of Oakland. The PT Fellowship is a postgraduate program in orthopedic physical therapy which provides advanced specialty training to experienced physical therapists from across the United States. The program is undergoing a major transformation to move from a traditional classroom setting to a hybrid online environment using Sakai.

Steve's post on the Sakai open forum email list of course includes his email address. Those interested in these positions might best follow up directly with him for additional details.
